Virgin Red will match members’ donations to Air Ambulances UK from 5-11 September
Throughout Air Ambulance Week, 5-11 September, Virgin Red will double the cash value of member donations made to Air Ambulances UK via Virgin Red.
Air Ambulances UK is one of 14 charity partners in Virgin’s rewards club. Members can choose to donate a minimum of 1,000 Virgin Points to the charity, which will be converted into a cash donation which will then be matched during Air Ambulance Week.
Air Ambulances UK is the national charity supporting the lifesaving work of the UK’s air ambulance charities, enabling them to save even more lives every day.
Air ambulance crews bring the Emergency Department to patients who have suffered a life-threatening or life-changing trauma or medical emergency, providing advanced critical care to save lives. Air ambulance charities are collectively dispatched to more than 100 lifesaving missions each day across the UK and each mission is funded almost entirely by the generosity of local communities.

- Donations in Virgin Points will be converted into cash donations for Air Ambulances UK at a not-for-profit rate.
- Virgin Red will double the cash value of donations to Air Ambulances UK via Virgin Red between 5-11 September 2022.
- Charity donations via Virgin Red are facilitated by GoFundMe.Org.UK, a not for profit company.
- Gift aid is not applicable on donations made in points.
- Donations are not refundable and there are no transfers (i.e. you cannot transfer your donation to another charity).
- The cash value of the points will be transferred to the charity for them to carry out their excellent work they do. Individual points cannot be traced back to particular items or projects.
