Opening the webinar, we welcomed Daniel Farrelly, Principal Lecturer of Psychology at the University of Worcester who gave our audience an illustrated insight into the biological needs to gift and receive.

Alethea Price from Burgopak and Yash Patel from GiftAFeeling considered the reasons why physical gifts will always be a front-runner, depending on what the recipient “feels” about the transaction and their emotional response.

While James Malia, MD of Prezzee UK presented digital gifting as a growing market trend especially in the corporate world that can equally create an emotional response subject to the creativity of the delivery and how meaningful the gift is.

Our polls also showed that 38% of our audience would buy physical Christmas gifts this year when 8% would be buying digital. 15% would buy a mix or the two.
