ChatGPT Plug-ins are apps that you can install into ChatGPT. These apps provide new up-to-date information to ChatGPT while you are chatting. The up-to-date context is provided to ChatGPT behind that scenes and enables ChatGPT to answer your questions with the latest, most relevant information directly from the horses (brand owners) mouth.

Klarna Shopping will be one of the first plug-ins to launch, enabling 100’s Millions of ChatGPT users to simply chat about what they are wanting to buy.

As you can see in the image, plug-ins can return content to users, serve product links and “more”. So what is this “more”?

The future of ChatGPT plug-ins is that ChatGPT will intelligently select the most relevant data source to answer the users questions and respond in Chat. The Expedia plug-in will eventually allow for flight and hotel booking via Chat.
