The Gift Club launches a brand-new exclusive membership organisation for retailers and brands in Europe – The European Loyalty Association.

London, 16 October 2023 – Today, The Gift Club launches a brand-new loyalty-specific community called the European Loyalty Association (ELA).

The ELA seeks to provide exclusive regional and international content and networking opportunities specifically for brands and their loyalty, CRM and customer engagement teams.

Meeting an open need within the market, the European Loyalty Association creates a supportive community space for day-to-day programme managers across Europe. The aim of the organisation is to facilitate the growth of the loyalty industry via learning, development and networking.

Hadie Perkas, CEO of The Gift Club and Co-Founder of The European Loyalty Association, said: “To have the opportunity to create the first European-wide loyalty-specific community is a great honour, and we are so excited to push this initiative forward. With resources and operations powered by The Gift Club’s team, we’re confident that the ELA has the foundation to become a driver of business and education for hundreds of brands and retailers across the continent.

“We’ve chosen to announce the launch of the ELA at our loyalty-specific in-person event, The BIG Handshake (taking place 16th-17th October in Amsterdam), so that 130+ fabulous industry faces can celebrate this milestone moment together.”

Four regional HUBS (UK, Benelux, Nordics and DACH) will support online and offline local activity, overseen by two ‘HUBMasters’. Members can expect to attend at least one in-person and two virtual events per year, plus benefit from access to resources and trainings.

There will be three levels of annual membership starting with a free (‘Personal’) pass for individual loyalty practitioners looking to increase their presence within the industry.

Tiers two and three are paid:

  • The ‘Professional’ tier entitles an individual to additional industry exposure via the medium of blog articles and webinar appearances.
  • The ‘Corporate’ membership provides access for up to three employees of a retail or brand, plus numerous opportunities for promotion throughout the year.

Get involved with the ELA

Retail and brand loyalty practitioners can sign up to the membership via the ELA website from today.

Vendors and solution providers are welcome to sponsor ELA events and provide content that aims to educate and inform members on topics that will improve new and existing brand loyalty programmes.
